As a result of the growing demand for dedicated and more efficient services, Grimaldi Group Naples has set up its own agency in Cotonou in January 2000.  Grimaldi Benin, formerly called RoRo Shipping Agency Benin, is located in the Fishing Port at about 500 meters from the main port entrance.

Thanks to the in-house developed highly sophisticated software, Grimaldi Benin’s releasing desks are able to handle an entire releasing file in less than 2.5 minutes, which is allowing us to treat up to 700 releasing files per day.

Grimaldi Benin is employing a 35-staff.  A basic company chart and a fully detailed contact list can be found under the menu “contacts”.

During the last quarter of 2003, Grimaldi has started an own sales park for second hand vehicles, called RoRo Trans.

RoRo Trans, with its total surface of 11 Hectars, is the largest sales park in Benin, located in the most popular sales zone, called Ekpè, at about 10 kilometres from the port of Cotonou.  Thanks to direct long-distance links between the main office of Grimaldi Benin and RoRo Trans, receivers using the Grimaldi park are able to obtain the agency release order directly at the park.
